520 Fifth Avenue – Corcoran

A 1,000-foot tower of elegant proportions and impeccable detailing.

Welcome to 520 Fifth Avenue – Corcoran

520 5th Ave, New York

A 1,000-foot tower of elegant proportions and impeccable detailing, 520 Fifth Avenue draws inspiration from the architectural landmarks of the neighborhood, from the classic skyscrapers at Rockefeller Center to the carved-limestone mansions of Fifth Avenue and Club Row. The palazzo-like Century Association next door sets the meter for 520 Fifth Avenue’s spiraling setbacks and the proportions of its base, composed of finely crafted terracotta arches detailed in contemporary style.

Architecture

A distinguished architectural pedigree. KPF’s architecture, with an elegant rhythm of terracotta arches at the tower’s base, pays homage to the Century Association, a 1891 McKim, Mead & White masterpiece located next door to 520 Fifth Avenue.

A modern take on classical forms. The prominent arches animating the tower’s exteriors draw inspiration from Beaux-Arts icons of the neighborhood, including Grand Central Terminal, the New York Public Library, and the Century Association. Variations in the arches’ proportions and scales articulate the building’s different interior functions, from monumental portals at the street and club levels to dramatic windows on the residences above.

Residences

The Tallest Residential Tower on Fifth Avenue. Offering a new vision for refined living in Midtown, 520 Fifth Avenue soars 1,000 feet above the world’s most famous thoroughfare. The boutique skyscraper features just 100 residences with views from Bryant Park to Central Park and panoramic skyline vistas from river to river and beyond. Located atop an exclusive suite of luxury offices and Moss, Manhattan’s most inspiring new private members club, 520 Fifth Avenue offers unmatched conveniences. In addition, residents will enjoy an exclusive 88th-floor amenity suite, including the Lounge, the Dining Room, the Library, and the glass-walled Solarium.

The tower’s graceful setbacks and elegantly proportioned arched crown make 520 Fifth Avenue a striking presence at the center of the Manhattan skyline. Double-height terracotta arches, inspired by the classical architecture of the neighboring Century Association, frame the entrance. The tower's spiraling setbacks recall classic New York skyscrapers. A discreet lobby, designed by Charles & Co with a nod to the mosaic-tiled entryways of Milan, offers privacy as well as a tie to the arched entryways of the residences, offices, and club.

Charles & Co designed the interiors of 520 Fifth Avenue as a contemporary take on classic New York style. The firm’s first condominium project in the city features intimate spaces with a feeling of sophisticated coziness for which the AD100 firm is known. Drawing upon its experience designing private clubs, restaurants, hotels, and residences for the world’s most discerning tastemakers, Charles & Co selected the finest materials and textures—European-inspired mosaics, handsome millwork, richly veined stone, and patterned textiles and wallcoverings–to create timeless rooms that are warm and elegant, memorable and evocative.
